Everybody loves chocolate chip cookies and these were probably the easiest cupcakes to make. I made cookie batter just like for normal cookies, but I added about 1/8 cup of cream to keep the batter moist and to let the cupcakes cooke a little more evenly. I knew the cupcakes wouldn't rise much or dome well, so I filled the tins a little over 3/4 full.
But all cupcakes need frosting. I wanted to make a cookies and cream cupcake, but I thought a rich chocolate frosting would be even yummier.
